My transfer of £300 never arrived. When they eventually got around to answering emails they insisted that the transaction had been completed. This is despite their receipt giving a different bank and reference number that I had provided. I continued to seek an explanation for this but the only replies I got said their investigation had been completed. I did get refunded after 3 months but I'll never use this company again, and I'd advise others to take a similar approach.

I can't send money to a debit card

I used my credit card linked to PayPal and tried to transfer money to my boyfriends Chime debit card. The transaction kept getting cancelled. Im not sure how to correct it so it processes.

Please don't waste your time like I did, Xoom money transfer is a horrible service and I would never recommend it to anybody plus all I received from Xoom was an outdated email address, terrible phone support, and bad verification for their recipients who don't want to work. This is what I've emailed to Xoom but they probably didn't read it and don't care. Terrible customer service: I wanted to write this email to whom it may concern because I would like to appeal the suspension placed on my Xoom account. I also would like to notify PayPal and Xoom that I got scammed and I will never send money to this recipient Brian Mungai or Abigail Karanja ever again. My full name is Kevin Palma-Gamboa, however the xoom account used to send the money was xpresanime@***.com and kevindiegopalma@***.com which are also paypal accounts owned by me. I apologize for the inconvenience that it may have caused and I have already reported Abigail Karanja using kevindiegopalma@***.com. This recipient is a scammer and they have sent a fake check and then asked me to send the money through Xoom. I did not know they were from Nairobi, Kenya. I would definitely ask Paypal's fraud department to please verify these two email addresses from the scammers abbiepriyah33@***.com and brianmwaniki07@***.com and make sure to ask for their ID or identification because they are using instagram to commit the scams and this is not the recipients I meant to send money to. I have not met these people in person and do not know them. Again, this was my side of the story: I had sent money to a bad person outside the United States to Kenya and I paid the price for it. I was in a toxic and negative relationship where the person was abusing me and calling me for money every day and I have the proof in the pictures. I will never send money using Xoom ever again. I called them with some explanation of this but their customer service agents are in another country like the Philippines or India or and could care less. Xoom money transfer is also expensive and has way too many fees. The fact that they closed my account but won't close the account of the "person" in Africa shows that they don't care about the consumer. I can provide my ID and verify my identify but they haven't even verified the scammer in Africa with anything and this is why I will never recommend nor use Xoom ever again. There are people out there who want to hurt you and abuse you and Xoom is a bad service to use.

Pending refund

Im waiting since the 3rd of November for my refund. I sent myself cash with that service. The bank refused to pay me out. I used this service through PayPal. PayPal keeps closing my case, because for their part everything worked out. Xoom doesnt answer the questions in my numerous emails. They just keep asking for the same personal Informations. Not personal customer service so far, only automatic replies.

My friend sent Money to me last September 13, 2022 about 100 USA dollars for his purpose to help me and when I claimed his money given to me in the office of remittance's using ZOOM the reference number given ( X73318****) is an error or failed , I don't know why? I told the sender about it He said He don't have any problem his transaction in sending to me but when He was asked also in the office ZOOM where he sent, it's also said to him its my problem about my name at the end, so I reach out my concern about this, I hope I could find a solution and I can settle down this problem that I encountered in ZOOM. Delayed Transaction

I have used Xoom for years and until the last 2 months I have never had a delayed transaction. The have delyed me twice now for no reason. I have 100's of transactions with Xoom and the money has been in my bank account 100% of the time. When I call customer service they try to tell me it has always been this way. I can not understand why they would do this to a loyal and trusted customer.
