Xoom - Horrible
I'M FURIOUS WITH THIS COMPANY. IT'S THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH. I SENT MONEY LAST NIGHT, ONLINE, BECAUSE THEY SAID THE MONEY WAS GOING TO BE AVAILABLE TODAY TO THE RECEIVER. THEY LIED!!! THE MONEY IS NOT AVAILABLE. THEY HAVE A 877-225-1415 FOR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE BUY IT'S AN SCAM. THEY WILL BLOCK YOU. THEY HAVE A RECORDER FOR SCAMERS ASKING MORE INFORMATION. I DID THE TRANSFER BECAUSE IT'S A PAYPAL COMPANY. I'M RIGHT NOW ASKING THIS COMPANY TO RESOLVE MY PROBLEM, BECAUSE THEY ALREADY TOOK THE MONEY FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT. I'M PLANNIG TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC AND ALSO REPORT THEM AS AN SCAM. IT'S ILLEGAL TO HOLD THE CUSTOMER'S MONEY AND NOT RELEASE IT.
Processing money transfers via XOOM will lead to a never-ending probe of your personal and financial information and history. I don't believe they have any intention of transferring the money. Their real intent is to gather financial data for sale to third parties....Read more

I had to send money to my family immediately and for that only reason I had chosen xoom. i followed all the process of expediting the transfer and still it gets held up.. why??? technical issue with the bank which takes forever for them to resolve... seriously guys.....Read more

Xoom verification process will cause customer loss
I have been using Xoom services for over 3 years. I sent 50 dollars to my niece for her birthday this year and that initiated a verification process. I have also been a paypal account holder for a very long time. Today the verification department asked for my bank statement. I was not about to give some guy from the Philippines my bank info or my driver license. But their verification process boils down to harassment and I am taking my business elsewhere.
